Atka purchases mainly in South-East Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam) and Latin America.
In each country Atka has quality control agents. They have connections with the local packers and fishermen and choose the most reliable amongst them.
The quality control agents keep the purchase department daily informed about the local market situation and price evolutions. |

Quality control in country of origin
Before purchasing from a new supplier, the production facilities are inspected by the Atka quality control staff. The suppliers are screened following the BRC and IFS (International Food Standard) regulations.
Before shipment, each cargo is checked. |
