Klaas Puul B.V. takes over the company Atka.
Klaas Puul is a well known shrimp processor in Holland, who’s exporting shrimps and other seafood to whole Europe. The buying of Atka was a great opportunity for Klaas Puul. Expanding the production capacity with the frozen products of Atka, will bring lots of benefits to both parties.

FRESH FRESH NORTH SEA SHRIMPS
Atka, a player on the fresh market. From half november 2005 Atka customers can order FRESH and frozen shrimps. A major step forward for Atka. In order to enter this market big investments have been done in the production area, packaging line, logistics and back office infrastructure. A complete new packaging has been developed for the FRESH FRESH unpeeled North Sea shrimps. The shrimps are available in the following sizes: middle - large - very large. Atka receives the BRC higher level certificate and the higher level IFS certificate
BRC stands for British Retail Consortium.
IFS or International Food Standard was created on the request of French and German customers.
